Arsenal vs Leeds United
It would’ve been a shock to the system for Arsenal in their last match away at Brighton and they will be looking to respond against unbeaten Leeds in the early kickoff at the Emirates. The international break has given them time to reflect on the loss and they will be hoping to right this wrong.
The visitors will arrive at this game hoping to take advantage of a weakened Arsenal and with their great start to the season should have the confidence to do so.
I expect that Leeds will make this a competitive, physical game and in-form Calvert-Lewin will cause some issues for the backline but overall I think home advantage will make the difference and Arsenal will come out on top.

Aston Villa vs Brentford
Both sides come into this after a good result before the break, Villa beat Spurs away and Brentford had a very confident win over Chelsea.
The away side will be extremely happy with their start to the season, sitting in fourth position and undefeated and with Thiago getting off the mark last game he’ll be hoping to add to his total.
The emergence of some of Villa’s new signings, particularly in Manzambi and Jackson in attacking areas should make this an interesting game but I think that the stability of the Brentford defence should allow them to continue their momentum at the start of this year.

PREDICTION: BRENTFORD 2-0 ASTON VILLA
Chelsea vs Bournemouth
It is a big game for both teams but for very different reasons.
For the home side it is an opportunity to get their season back underway.
A good start to their league season has derailed slightly with losses against Brentford and Arsenal and a draw with Hull. Their quality in attack should end up shining through again at some point soon.
Bournemouth haven’t really got their season up and running. It was always going to be a big loss with Iraola leaving in the summer but performances have been below expectations so far despite some good performances in the EFL Cup and Europa League.
I think this match is where Bournemouth’s struggles will continue in the league with a tough afternoon in store for them at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea’s front three starring.

Ipswich Town vs Fulham
Ipswich will be looking to bounce back after their defeat to Everton before the international break, they have thrived on chaotic games so far in the league and can struggle against well-organised defences and with Fulham conceding only one clean sheet so far the home side will fancy their chances.
Fulham have struggled so far this season and most of their games have featured goals on both sides, but they have only won twice and it was in the cup both times.
I think in this game we will see Ipswich take advantage of Fulham’s poor start to the season and will see a pretty comfortable game for them.

Sunderland vs Brighton and Hove Albion
Brighton take the long trip up to the North East and face a Sunderland team hoping to build on their good performance last game at the Etihad.
The attacking display from both teams in the last game were outstanding, Brighton scoring three against what was the best defence in the league and Brobbey grabbing a hat-trick away at Manchester City however he was let down by his defence, who conceded five goals with a mix of self-inflicted errors and some bad luck.
This is why I have predicted another high-scoring game at the Stadium of Light, both teams have very capable attacks with in-form creative players and it will be a very close game but I think with the form that Brighton is in it will be difficult to stop them.
The home crowd will make it difficult but I do think the Seagulls will just about grab the three points.

Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur
Both teams enter this game in pretty poor form, the results this season for the home side have been disappointing while Spurs’ results have been pretty shambolic.
United have struggled creatively in the past couple games, with only three games scored in their last three games, including not being able to break down a ten man City team.
The final third has also been a problem for Tottenham, scoring just twice in the league so far, both coming very late on against Villa who were already three goals up.
This season I think the performances haven’t been as bad as the table may suggest so far, there has been good signs on the ball and they have shown some adept ways to play through the press of some teams, but it is far from the expectations of them before the season.
I think a cagey low-scoring match is coming with both teams lacking that killer instinct.

Crystal Palace vs Nottingham Forest
A fixture that has conjured up a lot of intrigue due to events in recent years.
Obviously the drama around the European competitions last season, Glasner swapping Palace for Forest and some banners voicing the opinions of fans.
All of this combined should lead to an entertaining watch with a good atmosphere so that’s why I am predicting…
A dull 0-0 game with very few chances.
Palace’s start to the season has been less than ideal and results haven’t gone their way due to a few defensive issues, but they have looked better with some more creative attacking patterns.
The full return of Ismaila Sarr should give them a boost but I still don’t think it’ll be enough to take the win.
Forest equally haven’t had an ideal start to the season, notching a good win against Villa and getting a draw away at Anfield, but handing Coventry their first win in a poor season must give the confidence a knock.

Hull City vs Everton
Another Sunday kickoff sees two very defensively solid teams who both find themselves towards the top of the table despite some pre-season reservations about them.
Despite a narrow defeat at St. James Park last game Hull have had a flying start to the season, already surpassing a lot of people’s expectations of them.
Hull haven’t lost at home since March and are still unbeaten there in the Premier League so they will be looking to restart their momentum with another solid display.
Everton have been very impressive this season, yet to lose in any competition, and when you factor in the fact they only have 18 outfield players in the squad for the season it only looks better.
This should be a game that focuses on defensive solidity and will be decided by only a few vital moments.
I don’t think either team will quite have enough to grab three points.

Liverpool vs Manchester City
Now this game is surrounded by one of the biggest footballing stories ever (maybe second, after Newcastle changing their badge for the first time since 1988)
Irony aside this game will contain possibly one of the most hostile Anfield atmospheres in recent memory with the controversy of the financial cheating taking away their opportunities to win so many more trophies under Klopp.
Liverpool haven’t had the most convincing start to the season but the noise from the crowd will surely drive them onto a fiery performance.
The city players will surely have been thinking of all the possible scenarios since the guilty verdict, deciding on what they’ll do if the threat of relegation, or multiple, becomes reality.
I don’t think there is any way after all that has happened and the drama around this game that it doesn’t result in a Liverpool win.

Newcastle United vs Coventry City
With that prediction out of the way it’s time to get onto the real heavy hitter out of the games.
Okay… maybe a close second.
Irony out of the way this game could tip in either direction.
Newcastle managed victory in their last game while managing the absence of nine first-team players, it wasn’t the most convincing win you will ever see but they got over the line.
The start to the season, besides the collapse in Leeds, has been fairly positive and better than what a lot of fans would’ve hoped for after the summer.
Coventry secured their first Premier League win for 25 years and will be looking to build on it in front of of their home crowd. They should be energetic and try to dominate possession and I do think they will have a good goal threat, helped by Newcastle’s shaky defence who concede an average of 19 shots per game.
Overall I think through a bit of quality and confidence from last game (mixed with some blind hope) the Magpies will come out on top.
