Bournemouth vs Liverpool
The first game on the Sunday is Iraola’s return to the south coast with some question marks around his start to life at Liverpool.
The Spanish manager has had an unbeaten start at the Merseyside outfit but three draws in the league leaves them further down the table than they’d like.
The performances have been subpar in the league, the Ipswich game aside where they scored twice in the first 10 minutes and the game was finished from there.
Wirtz has really struggled again at the start of this season, never really looking a threat on the ball, you may have thought a new manager and a new season would’ve led to an uptake in form, but the German has been extremely disappointing.
On the south coast the story of the season is not being able to hold onto leads, having led in every one of their games in the league but not managing to win any of them, conceding over half their goals after the 80th minute all makes for a painful start to the season for the Cherries.
Kroupi’s absence through injury is a massive loss for the squad but with the quality in the team from those of Alex Scott and Rayan in particular should give the team enough quality to do better than they have done.
With these two struggling teams coming against each other hoping to both kickstart their league campaigns. I think that Adam Smith will have to be at his best against Cody Gakpo who has started the season very well and I believe that the Dutchman will come out on top of this battle and be one of the deciding factors in the game.

PREDICTION: BOURNEMOUTH 0-2 LIVERPOOL
Leeds United vs Crystal Palace
A flying start to the season and Leeds fans will be eager to see their team playing football again, and with their record at home coming off a standout win on Monday night who could blame them?
The most impressive thing there’s not been a proper standout player for them, you could argue Calvert-Lewin with his goals but everyone else has been chipping in with good performances and with an undefeated start to their league campaign it’s looking very exciting for the Yorkshire side.
Palace have had a tough start to the season, only one league win so far in a back and fourth game against Fulham.
It was always going to be difficult after the departure of Oliver Glasner and there have been some positives.
The performances so far in cup competitions have been a bright spark, 3-0 and 4-0 wins across the EFL Cup and Europa League will give Palace fans some hope despite their league woes.
One main difference in Pierre Sage’s system compared to Glasner’s is the defensive organisation, Palace have had some defensive issues with them conceding more goals than anyone else at the time of writing this and I think they will continue, Leed’s home form and Palace’s defensive record leading to a comfortable afternoon for the home team.

Manchester City vs Sunderland
It has been a good start to the season for Man City, who can boast a perfect record so far and perhaps doing a lot better than some people may have expected.
Although many of their games haven’t quite been overly convincing with three of them being only by one goal, but with one of them bring last week in the derby where they had 10 men for most of the game it doesn’t quite paint the full picture
This season was going to be a landmark one for Sunderland and have had pretty good showings in all of their matches, maybe aside from their season opener in Ipswich.
Their only other defeat came in a game against Arsenal which was a very close affair.
The highlight however would be the first European game for 53 years, which they won midweek and with spirits undoubtedly lifted with that they will want to continue this upwards momentum.
This will be another cagey affair with the intensity and physicality of Sunderland going to provide a different kind of challenge at the Etihad and although City are clear favourites the game will not be as straightforward as some may assume.
The Black Cats have shown to be very capable in transition and on set pieces which will be sure to cause the home side problems.
I do however think City will find a way to win, their individual quality, in particular I think Rayan Cherki, will be able to just about see them through a massive early test

PREDICTION: MANCHESTER CITY 2-1 SUNDERLAND
Fulham vs Manchester United
Fulham struggled so far under new boss Alvaro Arbeloa with some seeming turmoil in the dressing room and found themselves without a win in the league.
A win in the cup against West Ham was also not straightforward, having to take the lead three times in the game.
Joshua King has been a silver lining in what has been a pretty disappointing season, the academy graduate providing three goal contributions, almost equalling the last two seasons combined.
What is there to say about Man United’s season so far? So downhill compared to their season last year.
The derby defeat and the manner it happened followed by their loss to Brighton, their first time losing at Old Trafford while being ahead at halftime for over 50 years, placing a lot of pressure on them to respond strongly in London this weekend.
Despite clear struggles this year the Red Devils can at least take some comfort in their record in Craven Cottage, being undefeated there since 2009.
I think the away side will dominate the game, with a midfield controlled by Mainoo and Tielemans looking strong but again will not be able to create many good opportunities, struggling like they did against Man City with 10 men.
Fulham will have a solid defensive performance, similar to their match against Liverpool and limit their opponent’s sight on goal.
